In the following cases, the hydrostatic test should be stopped temporarily. The hydrostatic test is 1.25 times the planned pressure: pressure vessel equipment

(1) Before the new container is put into operation.

(2) Before being put back into use after overhaul.

(3) Replace the manhole, hand hole and safety valve.

(4) Delayed stop of operation inspection due to unexpired inspection.

(5) Strength test must be done for other suspicious parts.

8. Preparations before the hydraulic test:

(1) The pressure vessel is disconnected from other operating process pipelines and a blind plate is installed.

(2) Prepare the pressure test pump to check whether the pressure test pump is in good working condition.

(3) Install a pressure gauge that has passed the inspection and is within the validity period on the pressure vessel, and the reading of the gauge is 1.5 times to 2 times the hydraulic test pressure.

(4) The inlet of the pressure test pump of the pump should have a check valve, a drain valve and a pressure gauge.

(5) Do not use high-pressure hoses during pressure test, but high-pressure hoses or steel pipes can be used.

(1) Fill the pressure vessel with water.

(2) Tighten the bolts, close the valve and connect the pressure test tube to check that it is connected to the water pump and check in detail that there is no leakage.

(3) There should be a special person to check the pressure and check whether there is leakage in front of the nozzle, do not stay so that objects can hurt people.

(4) If there is leakage during the pressure test, do not tighten it. It should be tightened after the pressure in the pressure vessel is released, and the pressure should be tested again. It is strictly forbidden to tighten with pressure.

(5) Immediately stop the pump when the test pressure is reached, close the pressure test valve and make a record, note down the time of stopping the pump, and the pressure vessel pressure inspector signs and archives.

(6) Keep the test pressure for 30 minutes. If there is no pressure reduction, the pressure should be reduced to 80% of the specified test pressure, and the inspection should be stopped for a sufficient time.

(7) After the water pressure test, the manhole shall not be opened to prepare for the air pressure test.
